Hi All!

Looking forward to hike Hazelnut Trail and Weiler Ranch Loop with you. Please note that this trail does not allow dogs.

This route offers great views. The trail has multiple switchbacks and can be steep in sections. The Hazelnut Trail is a good mix of wooded stretches of trail and sections where it is open with views. At points, you will be able to see the ocean. The Weiler Ranch Trail is a flat crushed gravel path that leads back to the trailhead.

Just a few notes:

- Please arrive on time (10am). If you are running late, please comment on the Meetup link and we will accommodate (within reason).

- The hike is NOT dog friendly.

- Stopping points will be discussed at the onset to ensure all are accounted.

- Please wear appropriate shoes, dress in layers, apply sunscreen, bring water, etc.

- We will meet at Oddstad Blvd & Weiler Ranch Rd Trail

Come join us for a vegan potluck in Oakland Public Library, Golden Gate Branch. If you are available to help set up at noon or clean up after 3:30, please leave comments.

The potluck space is located in the lower level of the library. There is a direct entrance from the parking lot so that you won't have to carry your dishes up and down the stairs. There is also an elevator from the parking lot (see photo).

Please bring a vegan dish to share. You do not have to be vegan to attend this event, but every dish should be 100% vegan -- no meat, no fish, no eggs, no dairy, no honey, no products derived from animals of any kind.

We strive to be a zero waste event and you can help by bringing your own travel mug, bowls, flatware, cloth napkin, etc. Come prepared and reduce the waste generated at the event. Thank you for being part of the solution and for caring about the environment. Please plan to bring your own beverages. Drinking water and bathrooms are available on site. ADA accessible.

It will be very casual, come and go as you please.
