Join us at Gray Area (http://grayarea.org/about/mission/) in for an all-day virtual reality event. But, that’s not all :)
SFVR is proud to host an early preview of PhaseSpace's (http://www.phasespace.com/) next-generation VR experience. Unlike anything else you’ve ever tried, this is the largest and most elaborate VR demonstration ever publicly presented in San Francisco.
• 1,000 sq ft motion-captured play area
• Multiplayer Gear VR experiences with a team of four players
• Motion-captured props. Fire virtual blasters in a sci-fi battle or swing swords and cast spells in a dungeon brawl.
• Wireless & lightweight VR, using PhaseSpace (http://www.phasespace.com/), the highest quality motion-capture system in the world.
• First public demonstration of this unique technology, tracking active markers at up to 960 frames-per-second.
• Presented at SFVR #12 from 1 PM to 7 PM.
• Contact: inquiry@phasespace.com

We’re changing up our format as well. Instead of long lines, there will be sign-up sheets for most of the big VR exhibits. That way, you can socialize without worrying about losing your spot. We’re also offering early-access tickets for those folks who want to see everything before the event opens to the public.
Try the newest VR technology, learn from pioneers in the field, and meet your fellow VR community in a casual, friendly atmosphere.
Cash bar (beer & wine) and catering (with meat & vegan option) will be provided.
