Pour notre toute première rencontre, nous vous présentons une introduction au monde de la visualisation de données et à sa communauté Montréalaise. Nous discuterons de notre motivation à lancer ce groupe et voulons rassembler vos suggestions pour les prochaines rencontres. Nous aurons plusieurs conférenciers pour l'occasion pour présenter plusieurs projets locaux. Nous aurons du temps après les conférences pour prendre une bière et nous rencontrer pour parler de notre passion commune pour la visualisation de données.

For our first meetup, we want to introduce you to the data visualization community that exists here in Montréal. We'll talk a bit about our motivation for starting this meetup group, and gather your suggestions for future meetups. We'll also have several speakers talk about the many local data visualization projects. We'll have time after the meetup to grab a beer, talk about datavis projects, and meet others in the community.
