Aga Khan Museum & Ismaili Centre - Doors Open

We will be touring the Aga Khan Museum which offers visitors a window into the artistic, intellectual and scientific heritage of Muslim civilizations across the centuries.

Please note that only some of the rooms will be shown to us on a free architectual tour, if you want to see the entire museum which includes the exhibits the fee is $20.

We will also be viewing the Ismaili Centre of Toronto which is next door to the museum. The new Ismaili Centre is a place of worship and education, featuring a unique prayer hall with a crystalline glass-domed roof that lights up the skyline. A lounge, library and classrooms are on the main floor. Both buildings feature interesting modern architecture and a chance to learn about a different culture and religion.

It may be crowded so we are going early.

For those who came to the Japanese centre in March, the museum is across the road from the Japanese centre.
