Jeremy Cook - Temporal Databases
Relational databases are great for storing huge amounts of data but things start to get scary when you need to track all changes to a piece of data over time. This talk will introduce you to the main concepts needed to track changes to data across time as well as the SQL 2011 standard support for these data structures. We'll also take a quick look at using these in the real world. By the end of the talk you should have an introduction to the world of temporal tables, allowing you to track all changes to data over time.
