We're back in Guelph! Come out to Symposium for some food, drinks, networking and talk of all things web! We will continue to be alternating between Guelph and K-W, and meetings will always be on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. We have some great talks scheduled!
Ian Service will be talking about the integration of Bootstrap, jQuery and Laravel, and how it has sped up his coding.
James Harris will be doing a presentation on automating social media using Twools, Yahoo Pipes, Buffer and IFTTT. This talk will go over how to smartly filter content from Twitter for sharing to other social networks. Learn how to reshare your content without the hassle.
Jean-Luc Desroches will be talking about building web apps with decoupled architecture, focusing on how a well developed API and decoupling can boost the value of your Web apps, as it provides the ability to quickly extend your apps into new fields. Building a well developed decoupled API, will allow for much faster development, and provide stronger adaptability.
