Description
In this class we'll explore winning strategies for online portfolios and résumés. On the job market? Seeking more clients for your freelance business? Artist, entrepreneur, academic, and/or business owner, no matter what your career focus, having an online presence is a necessity for staying relevant and competitive in your field.
Some of the topics we'll cover in this workshop:
First impressions—ways to impress the viewer within the first 10 seconds (and why that matters).
Audience—how your approach should differ depending on who is receiving your work.
Quality vs. quantity—how much and what work should you show?
Value—wooing (and wowing) your prospect by showing what you’ll add to their process.
Personalization—the importance of your own domain and your own domain email (think: jill@jillsmith.com vs jill3421@aol.com).
Examples—case studies of what works and what doesn't.
