Hello DC Stop Modern Slavery,

Today is hump day! (That is, the middle of the week ). And TOMORROW is the last day to get the early bird discount for the 2011 DC Stop Modern Slavery Walk occuring on October 22nd! Since we're all going to support not only the incredible DC Stop Modern Slavery members who are organizing this event but also to support the movement at large, let's all save ourselves a little money by getting our registrations in today!

Last year's walk brought out more than 2,000 people and raised over $100,000 for anti-human trafficking efforts. Let's work together to top these numbers by:

A) Registering ourselves by visiting now. If you don't have a team yet, feel free to join the DC Stop Modern Slavery Team.

B) Convincing our friends, family, and fellow students/coworkers to register (forward this email, spread the word by Facebook and Twitter, and advertising on our own profiles)

C) Spreading the word by making this our email signature:

Leave your footprint on history!  DC Stop Modern Slavery WALK

Saturday, October 22, 2011 - National Mall

In case you've forgotten, this year's walk is slated to be one of the coolest anti-trafficking events in the Nation's capitol--EVER!  Prepare yourselves to be amazed by performers and speakers like TimBeTold, the Batala Women's Drum Corps, Tina Frundt (CNN Hero), James Kofi Anan (Freedom Award Winner), and more! In addition to a 5K walk, speakers, and performers, there will be a resource fair and a children's area. All participants get a T-Shirt and for a slightly higher registration fee you can get a bracelet made by survivors.

Check it:

Let's do this! :)
