C and then C++ began to be important to me ever since the early 90's. Java began to be important in the later 90's and up to about 2006. Ruby for a few years after that. I have been heavy into the Drupal CMS community and worked on many web app projects since 2006, but the emphasis was more on architecture and process engineering than PHP development, although there was plenty of that. For the past six months, I am back to software development with Node.js in a big way.
Sprint framework (Java), Drupal used as a smallcore web framework, Node.js (used in conjunction with Backbone.js, Express.js, etc., with CouchDB as persistence.
Owner/Director of AWebFactory http://awebfactor... following a career as process engineer and software application architect, I focus on project specific mentoring services and agile approaches to web application development.
