This group is for those interested in the emerging field of Cloud Technologies, Enterprise 2.0, Enterprise 3.0 and related fields. These include cloud-enabled databases like Couchbase Single Server CouchDB, virtualization clouds and many enterprise SaaS and PaaS services.

FAQ:

What is Enterprise 2.0? It officially means embracing Web 2.0 tools and technologies within an enterprise but can also consist of integrating Web 2.0 features into enterprise-level software.

What is Enterprise 3.0? An encompassing term coined by Sramana Mitra that combines extended-Enterprise 2.0 with SaaS (Software as a Service) and tele-web sales, as applied to Small & Medium Enterprises. A more common perception of Enterprise 3.0 is that it is the next phase of Enterprise 2.0 that will include dynamic social context, limitless information resources, cloud-service & virtualization mashups and other Web 3.0 trends.
