I figured it would give us better exposure to get people to come to the meetups, so I ponied up the money for now. On a side note, we are accepting sponsors who would be willing to help with the Meetup membership fees...

$72 for 6 months, however, there was a deal for first-timers that brought it down to $43 for the first 6 months.

In the grand scheme of things, a cost like that isn't that much. I've paid for the MKEPUG ones for the last few years - now we're trying to finally find sponsors. The exposure on meetup.com is much better than just a quick web search. :) Glad to see you guys here now!

Agreed, Aaron. That's why I wanted it up on here. Don't mind paying if I have to. But I also don't mind if I can find someone else to pay for that. Actually that would be much preferred. It already looks like we have a few people who have joined that I am not used to seeing at our meetups that may not have known about if not for meetup.com

HEY FOLKS... Can you reach into you pantry or hit up a corner store before you head out to the event tonight? Chips, cans of soda, dried fruit, candy, whatever... We just dot want to see how crabby I get when my blood sugar gets too low.
If we all pitch in, we can all enjoy, right?
