WordPress for Beginners - Customize Your Site

This 2.5 hour workshop is for WordPress beginners, those that have a site and want to customize your site, change colors and fonts the easy way, and for those that want to build a site and get familiar with WordPress and how it works.

We'll review how themes are used to change the look and feel of your site, how to add a logo to a theme, the different methods of customizing your site's colors and layout, change fonts or use Google Web Fonts on any site, and more.

I'll leave at least 45 minutes reserved for your own questions and answers.

Be prepared to take notes, and bring a computer if you'd like to follow along with your web site, but be sure you are able to log in correctly beforehand.

I encourage you to invite your friends or colleagues to attend, and if you'd like more focused one-on-one help, we can arrange that as well.

I was able to reduce the cost of the workshops through a better arrangement with the venue. University Club is a premiere location with superb meeting rooms and amenities; the Apollo Room restaurant, bar, and lounge are available for your use after the workshop.

Parking near 6pm is better, with most meters free after 6pm, self-parking is $10, and valet is $15.

Please arrive early to secure parking, account for walking and elevator time, and being directed to the meeting room. Seating is limited due to room size, so payment via PayPal is required to RSVP.
