•Membership requirements and approval process
We request that all new members have a picture of themselves somewhere on their profile. This is to reduce anonymity and enhance group security. We feel this is helpful for our events which tend to be full day or even full weekend events.
There is a yearly membership fee of $6 payable on your first trip of the year. The membership expires after 1 year.
No-shows and other actions which negatively impact the group will be noted on titles with an “S” strike notation. Note that three strikes and you may be out. If you are unable to make an event, please change your status from going or not going as soon as possible.
•Signing up for events - Carpool and NON-Carpool (RSVP's)
When signing up for events, please indicate if you are able to drive. Many TWA events are out of the city and drivers are required. To balance the cost of gas, wear and tear and driving hassles, drivers do not pay for gas. The passengers pay for the full cost of gas, ensuring that drivers save money on all carpool trips.
All trips will indicate a low, medium or high difficulty level. Participants should be aware that high difficulty levels will require fitness, experience and the right equipment. You should not sign up for events above your level of comfort; you are unlikely to enjoy that event. It is suggested that participants sign up for low or medium difficulty events before progressing to high difficulty trips.
All members of TWA are assumed to agree to the liability waiver below.

We are always looking for good organizers to help run quality events. If you would like to try running an event, we offer organizers the ability to run the types of events they like. Send me a message and inquire on how to become and organizer.
