Join us for New Kawaii's Inaugural Friday Night Magic Draft! On Friday, May 10th, we will be running a Booster Draft of Outlaws of Thunder Junction.
There will be rolling start times between 5:30pm and 6:30pm, but pods will fire as soon as we have 8 players for them (We are also equipped to run a Booster Draft with 6 players or Winston Draft with 4 players, depending on how many pods fire)ALSO THERE WILL BE PRIZE-OUTS*!*
Never done a booster draft before? Let me explain how it works.
Players are given three packs. Everyone opens one pack simultaneously and chooses one card from the pack to keep. They then pass the rest of that hand to the next player, for them to pick a card. Everyone continues until all the packs have been divided up. From there, players have 50 minutes to make a minimum 40-card deck with their 45 drafted cards and unlimited basic lands. Once everyone's deck is ready, players will go head to head in a swiss-style three-round tournament. And at the end, we'll reward players who did well with packs as prize out!Sound interesting?
