New Policy on Deposits

Some of our events require a commitment to a merchant so that he can prepare for our group. We have had a problem with people saying they will attend, then cancelling at the last minute or just not showing up to events.

Because of this, for certain events we will be charging a small deposit. This is not to create income or a hardship, we need members to honor their commitments.

Deposits can be paid by PayPal, credit or debit card. If someone has a problem with this or is late to RSVP just give me a phone call or send an email, we can work things out. Deposits will be applied fully to the cost of the event and will be forfeited in the event of a no show or cancelation after deadline.

Deposits will be refundable if the RSVP is canceled in a timely way or if the event is canceled or rescheduled. This will be posted for each event.

Forfeited deposits will be used by the group to buy prizes or defray the cost of the website. Feel free to post comments or suggestions or send me an email with your thoughts.
