History of Lowell, Mass., Edit-a-thon (round two!)

Come add to the history of Lowell, Mass. on Wikipedia (for a second time!) There is a great deal of history in the city if Lowell, from the Industrial Revolution and textile mills to Jack Kerouac and Mill Girls. This editathon will focus on the Acre neighborhood of Lowell.

We want to take your knowledge and help you improve Wikipedia by locating sources, improving entries, and adding photos. This edit-a-thon will focus on buildings and events that connect to downtown Lowell.

Participants are encouraged to bring photos of downtown Lowell from the past and present. There will also be time allotted for those who want to take photos during the event, since the Pollard borders Lowell Downtown. Photos old and new will be added to Wikimedia Commons and used in entries about the city and neighborhood.
