March meeting. Discussion topic: Wikimedia software development efforts

Come and hang out with your fellow Wikimedians as we resume monthly meetings!

Led this month by Gabe F., the meeting will start off with a discussion of the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF) software development efforts. Some questions to be considered:

In what ways is Wikipedia's software holding back growth?

Is the WMF succeeding in addressing these areas (for instance, the article feedback tool, the visual editor and Flow)?

Is the relationship between WMF engineering and the editing community working? How can we improve it?

Gabe will make some introductory comments and will moderate discussion among attendees.

Later in the meeting, general schmoozing is encouraged! We are still determining the location, but there will likely either be snacks brought in or the opportunity to buy them, depending. We'll post updates here as we solidify a location.
