Welcome to the Willesden Green Life Drawing Meetup Group! Whether you're a trained artist or just starting out, this group is for anyone interested in life drawing. Join us in North West London on Sunday afternoons in a relaxed and friendly setting to level up your drawing and meet other artists. Advance bookings at livedrawing.sumupstore.com start at £12.60 with first-booker discount for each session.
Small group sessions are from 4.00pm to 7.00pm each Sunday. There is a short break for complimentary tea or coffee.
We start with fast dynamic warmup poses and finish with a 120-minute pose that allows artists to create a finished artwork each week. Beginners to advanced artists are welcome. Workshops are generally untutored but full individual tuition is available on request (no extra fee).
Easels, drawing boards and clips are supplied. An A1 sheet of basic paper is included in the booking fee. Drawing materials are available to purchase in advance for collection at the workshop, or on the day for exact change or by card.
Willesden Green sessions are held close to Willesden Green Jubilee Line (zone 2) station, about 10 minutes from Central London. 6 bus routes run very close to the studio on Willesden High Road, stop Willesden Green Library. Step-free access is available from the street. Parking is available on street.
Limited places are available for each session. Any spare places not booked online at livedrawing.sumupstore.com by 3.00pm can be purchased at the workshops from 3.30-4.00pm by card only. Please note that dropin places are only available for people who have already RSVPd on Meetup, and only card payments are accepted. This is due to security concerns of the venue management.
