Spring has sprung, and that means it's time for a wine tour!
We'll meet at Walmart and decide how to carpool out on our tour. If anyone has a van, you are my new best friend and you should expect to be recruited. If your name is Mark, and you happen to have a large ambulance suitable for touring, and you'd like to attend we'll love you too and throw large amounts of Washingtons at you.
Edit: Mark is bringing the vambulance and we also have offers of a minivan and large wagon. Please bring cash to contribute gas money for the drivers.
Here's the Plan.
We start out driving to King Estate's. They are the big daddy around here which makes them somewhat uncool to visit, however it's really an impressive place. They give a top notch tour of the winery, and they are one of the only places around with extensive acreage of vines. It's beautiful and educational!
Following our time there, we'll swing by Sweet Cheeks winery which is another great place. We can then head across the way to Sylvan Ridge. After that, we'll go by Noble Vineyards which is one of my personal favorites.
We'll likely roll into Eugene full of wine and bread/crackers, and see about grabbing some dinner.
If you like wine, this will be a great time. If you life free wine, an even better time.
Note that this is double booked with the Book & Social club so please sign up with only one so we can maintain an accurate head count.
