MapBox Editor & Leaflet - May the maps unite!

Steffi Rausch & Julien Melissas will present on how to use MapBox Editor & Leaflet to create very cool-looking mobile-friendly interactive maps for your website. This will be a live coding demo.

MapBox Editor is a wonderful tool that will allow you to create interactive maps without knowing a lick of code. You can draw markers, lines, & polygons; import .geojson, .csv, .kml, .gpx, files; and even add data overlays to your project that you can then customize the look of with limitations of course. Leaflet takes you one step further to build completely custom maps on webpages. You will learn how to add JS and CSS to your page, pick and use custom map tiles, as well as add layers, markers, shapes, and custom controls to your map.
