Topic: Leveraging Project 2010 with SharePoint 2010 for Project Management Success
Microsoft Project is a project management tool widely used by project managers today. Its' ability to support project managers to define a schedule, assign resources to tasks and track project status has been instrumental in contrib-uting to project success. However, it can be a challenge for a project manager to share project information and collabo-rate with the project team with Microsoft Project alone. Microsoft SharePoint 2010 can complement Microsoft Project 2010 and address this gap.

Create a SharePoint-based Project Management Information System (PMIS)
Integrate Microsoft Project information with SharePoint
Empower a project team to collaboratively share relevant information
Build a project management dashboard in SharePoint
Presenter: Marie-Michelle Strah, PhD BroadPoint Technologies on Women in SharePoint and Case Studies on PMIS using SharePoint 2007, 2010, MS Project and Dynamics CRM.
Michelle will be discussing the impact of women in technology to the SharePoint community, specifically data surrounding outreach to Women in SharePoint groups and their impact on user group and conference attendance to provide a framework for evidence-based discussions on gender-specific IT groups and why it matters to organizations and the SharePoint community as a whole from a recruitment, talent management, community management and ROI perspective.
In addition, Michelle will follow Dux Raymond Sy's presentation on Project Management using SharePoint and Project Server as a discussant to bring added insights to PMIS deployments as composite applications using SharePoint 2007, 2010, Project and Dynamics CRM.
