Will a Robot Be Your Friend? Movie Screening & Science Talk

    On getting to the Variety Preview Theater tomorrow evening ...

    SF's Montgomery Street BART Station is just a few paces from the Hobart Building (at 582 Market Street) where you'll find the theater on the 1st floor -- street level.

    If you drive, then I see two parking options: (A) Look for street parking (this turns out to be feasible right after 6:00 PM -- when the meters stop being enforced); or (B) Park in a nearby parking garage: Here's a good SF garage guide <http://sanfrancisco.bestparking.com>;. Since I am a parking coward, I will recommend two garages that are definitely big, safe, cheap*, and open, but that will make you walk 4-5 blocks:

    (1) "Fifth & Mission" <http://www.yelp.com/biz/fifth-and-mission-parking-garage-san-francisco-2>;

    (2) "Sutter/Stockton" <http://www.yelp.com/biz/sutter-stockton-garage-san-francisco>;

    I suggest arriving no later than 7:00pm.
