Estimados miembros,

En español:

Como los que asistieron a la última reunion en Panera saben, acabo de asumir el papel en el grupo de co-organizadora. Les escribo porque quisiera que me den observaciones sobre cuales actividades sociales les interesan.

Algunas ideas que mencionamos el martes pasado:

• *Hacer un picnic junto con el grupo de francés
• *Ir a comer en restaurantes mexicanos y/o españoles
• *Encontrar un lugar donde podemos tener una lección de bailar salsa y después bailar
• *Mandar regularmente mensajes electrónicos (como él que Ron mandó el miércoles) con ideas de como mejorarse hablar el español (recursos electrónicos, libros, grupos)
• *Ir a jugar al mini-golf o jugar a la bolerita
• *Ver una película o un video español (pueda requerer una fiesta en la casa de alguién)
• *Mandar un artículo a todos antes de la reunión mensual con la idea de que todos lo leamos y lo discutimos durante parte de la reunión mensual
• Designarle a alguién (voluntariamente) que traiga unas fotos de un viaje que ha hecho recientemente y que nos hable de sus experiencias

Qué quieren hacer? Cuales otras actividades les interesan?

Por favor, hagan el favor de mandarme un mensaje con sus observaciones de estas ideas o con otras ideas que tienen.

Dear members,

As those who were at last Tuesday's meeting at Panera know, I've assumed a co-organizer role in the group. I'm writing to you because I'd like you all to give me some feedback about what sort of social activities interest you.

Some ideas that we mentioned last Tuesday:

• *Have a picnic in conjunction with the French language group
• *Go to eat at Mexican or Spanish restaurants
• *Find a place to take a salsa lesson then dance
• *Send regular e-mails (like the one Ron sent on Wednesday) with ideas about how to improve one's Spanish (electronic resources, books, groups)
• *Go out to play mini-golf or go candlepin bowling
• *See a Spanish-language movie or video (might require a house party)
• Send an article to everyone prior to the monthly meeting with the idea that we would all read it and have some discussion of it during part of the monthly meeting
• Designate that someone (a volunteer) bring some photos of a recent trip and talk to us about his/her experience

So, what do you want to do? What other activities interest you?
