Special Developer Meetup with Mitcho Erlewine

Details

Mitcho Erlewine, a friend of Mozilla, Automattic, WordPress, and all things awesome, will be presenting on numerous development topics, ranging from projects he's worked on, to best practices when writing and architecting code.

He's a brilliant developer and thinker, and we're really excited to be hosting him. While the discussion will be geared for developers, all are welcome. Learning through osmosis is a very powerful thing.

Mitcho (http://mitcho.com) is a linguist, coder, and teacher in Cambridge, MA, whose work lies at the intersection of the internet and human language. He is the developer of the popular Yet Another Related Posts Plugin (http://mitcho.com/code/yarpp/) and HookPress (http://mitcho.com/code/hookpress/), developed ShrimpTest (http://shrimptest.com) and After the Deadline for Firefox (http://firefox.afterthedeadline.com) for Automattic (the company behind WordPress.com), and has spoken at WordCamps in Tokyo (http://japan.wordcamp.org/tag/wordcamp-tokyo-2009/), Boston (http://wordcampboston.com), San Francisco (http://2010.sf.wordcamp.org/), and Phoenix (http://phxwordcamp.com/).
