Fayetteville Writers Group
Would I scare you off if I said I'm all about writing? Writing is a huge priority - it comes in somewhere between lunch and dinner, as far as importance, and well after work, as far as time alotted....
This is why I'm excited by the opportunity to meet fellow writers, especially here in Fayetteville. It's so easy to get caught up in the daily grind, to forget to look up at that blank computer screen once and a while and type (could be that I nodded off at the keyboard again, but nobody was here to see that...) I'm sure that you're like me, and that you'd like to meet others who are in the same boat. You know, bounce ideas off someone else who goes home to write, get motivated to write some more yourself.
Thank you stopping by to check out this writing group. I'd like to welcome everyone interested. Now, if, say, you're too far from Fayetteville to drive in regularly, but you're close enough to want to, I'm sure we can work something out - I see a lot of interested writers up in Raleigh, and I'm up at Fort Bragg myself. I'll schedule a first meeting in the next few weeks, but please feel free to give your two cents on the Message Board before then. Tentative locations are the coffee shop in Barnes and Noble or one of the meeting rooms at the FSU Library. And, most importantly, JOIN! Even if you don't think you have time, I'll send you more info, and you can contribute ideas for meeting times and places that would work better.
Have a good one,
