Awesome Adventure Women!

Awesome Adventure Women is an organization that was formed from the sole of my heart, simply because I wanted to get more women outdoors and experience activities that they were only thinking of or speaking of. I noticed there were many women who have expressed, "Oh, I have always wanted to try rock climbing, but I don't think I have the upper body strength to manage it", "I would love to go zip lining, but I'm afraid of heights.", " Ya know, I enjoy hiking, but not going alone." or "I never know where to find different events."

People seem to find more reasons NOT to try something, then to do it anyway and see what happens. Some even give up before they get started because it's too time consuming or can't collaborate with their friend's schedules.

Awesome Adventure Women has taken away the fear, the loneliness, the hassle and the time it takes to know where to go, what to do and even provides the opportunity to make friends so you will never feel alone. After reading the following you will find yourself a different person. You can be saying; "Yes, I can", "Yes, I will" and "Yes I am" getting out there!

Awesome Adventure Women has made life simple and exciting for you because we prep, plan and prepare ALL the events and activities for you. All you have to do is show up with your spirit of adventure. I believe everyone has a spirit of adventure inside them. And AAW loves to bring it out of you.

We have simple events like hiking, biking, kayaking, fencing, grape stomping and wine tasting to more extreme activities including outdoor rock climbing, zip lining/high rope challenge in the dark, whitewater rafting, skydiving, caving, dog sledding and stock car racing. We have shot several types of firearms and bows and arrows. And even offered classes like "Ladies Start Your Engines" where you can learn basic auto maintenance on how to change your tire and replace your fluids. And "Handi-Women" classes where you learn some basic home repair, for instance, replacing your screens, locks and light switches, finding studs to hang the perfect picture and even grouting tile. There are always new and wonderful events being added.

Our activities and events are very affordable and offered 2-4 times per month. AAW can also plan the next "special occasion like a bachelorette party or 40th birthday party. How about getting a group of co-workers together or your small organization and offer something special like a zip lining/high rope challenge course for your guest? You can tell me what you want or I can suggest what your guest would like. Then leave the rest up to AAW.

Yes, sometimes, we open up events to the men folk and their families. We don't want to leave them out completely! But keeping in mind, Awesome Adventure Women was created for women who like to do and try new events and activities with like minded women ages 18 - 118, without the competition of men and to enjoy a day with like minded women.

You have the option of becoming a Full Member of AAW member, which is a $25.00 per year fee that offers you reduced prices on 99% of the events, free advertising, For Sale section, newsletter and automatic event updates. Oh yes, if you lead an event, you can go for free, (sometimes 1/2 price which occurs rarely.) And we are always open to suggestions for events and activities, so please feel inclined to do so.
