Gather the Women!

Gather the Women!

The Circle of Ancestors ~ Those remembered do not die. Honoring the season of Summer's End.

We are continuing our theme of moving through the veil of the worlds. This gathering will focus on honoring those who have gone before us.

We will build a remembrance altar. Feel free to bring a photo, or memento of a loved one who has passed. (these will be returned of course!)

We will also make a rolled beeswax candle of remembrance, enhanced with specially scented oils.

This is not a time of grief, but a remembrance of those who helped form the lives we now live. We all have stories of those who were mentors, friends, family; those who helped shaped the way we think, act, love...and sometimes those who we have a need to now let go.

Join us for a monthly meeting for women of all ages.  It is time to reclaim the warmth and support of the clan through the discovery of the many uniquely individual talents of our sisters.

We're creating a group collaboration of body, mind and spirit through laughter, singing, chant, drum, Crafts for the Spirit and women’s ritual.

Together we will build a safe and loving community to gather, grow and glow!

$20 per person

(There may be subsequent, pre-announced material fees when we delve into Crafts for the Spirit.)

A new stone, crystal or talisman will be given each month. Medicine pouches, filled with stones representing the Chakras, are available for purchase for $5.

Thanks to all who came out tonight, I really look forward to using my beautiful candle and remembering all the wisdom we shared while creating them. I can't wait for the holiday party for December's gathering!

This gathering is also posted on Rebekah's meetup and there are others who rsvp through that sight as well - and then there are still others who join us but don't rsvp! So please remember that regardless of the numbers you see there will always be a welcoming group!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
