Welcome!!

This meetup group is for IMMIGRANTS to Canada and for people who were born in Canada. It is also for YMCA Connections official Volunteers. If you are interested in participating in this club as a volunteer English facilitator, please contact the organizer to apply.

For newcomers: Are you interested in practicing conversational English? The YMCA Connections Program holds conversation groups at our downtown offices. It's a great way to practice English and meet new friends from all over the world. We also have social events and other activities. Join us for a wonderful traditional Canadian Christmas celebration. We will have turkey dinner, with stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy! There will be games and music, and a fun time for the whole family.

This is a very popular event, so priority will be given to YMCA Connections participants and their families. Unfortunately friends who are not a part of the YMCA Connections program will not be able to attend unless we have space.
