Dear Yoga Village:

Mother's Day is just around the corner. And let's face it, mom needs a chance to relax too! At Baltimore Yoga Village, we offer chances for young moms like a Momma and Baby and a Tiny Tots course, but even moms with teens need a break! Starting today you can also get a discounted Mother's Day 5 class Gift Certificate ($10 off regular price)  by clicking here!

Only available through this email link - this is my way of saying thank you for attending classes at BYV and continuing to support our growing community.

Now these drop in class passes have more options than ever. We are adding classes with abandon!

Of these, I am very excited to announce that I will begin a class this monday at 5:15 pm:  Mixed Level Hatha Yoga with LIVE sacred mantra music with musical accompaniment by Adam Kandal. Sure to be a treat, we will flow through this one hour class and shake off the work week, Mondays 5:15 pm in Hampden.

Our community $6 cash only offerings are growing at the Village. We are adding community Yoga with Kathy Fahey Thursdays 8 pm in Mt. Washington, Community Yoga with Changa Bell Sundays at 7:45 pm in Mt. Washington, and Community Dance Mondays at 8:30 pm in Hampden with our new studio manager and choreographer extraodinaire Caroline! Affordable classes for all! And remember that community classes at BYV also come with free mats, parking, and water!

One of  charm city's favorite teachers has migrated over to the Village... Do not miss an opportunity to take intermediate vinyasa flow class that also uses props and strong alignment cues on  Saturdays at 8 am in Hampden. A flow class with alignment? Only a very skilled teacher can make that happen and I highly recommend trying out Nancy's class.

When one of our teachers in training shows exceptional skill and dedication to practice, it is such a joy to be with him through the transition into the seat of a teacher. Changa Bell graduated from the Jivan Yoga Teacher Training at Baltimore Yoga Village in 2011 and will begin teaching an intermediate Power Yoga  on  Sundays at 6:15 pm in Mt. Washington

Please check out the amazing courses below and use the user-friendly links to register!

See you around the village!

Traditional Thai-Yoga Bodywork offers the best benefits of both a massage and yoga class. Often called "Lazy Man's Yoga," th receiver gets to completely relax as the Practitioner moves them in and out of Yoga-type stretches and rhythmic compressions along the body's energy lines. Like a healing martial art, Thai-Yoga Bodywork makes ideal use of bodyweight, physics, and the Practitioner's palms, thumbs, forearms and even feet. This Yogic approach releases stubborn tension patterns and biomechanical imbalances, leaving the receiver feeling lighter, taller, and amazingly relaxed.

Cost: $295 for the full weekend. $50 discount for graduates of the Jivan Yoga Teacher Training at Baltimore Yoga Village
