Kind and Gentle C-OM-MUNITY Yoga Meetup Group is the Karma Yoga Project of kg yoga life practices.  http://www.anandaleeke.com/id6.html

Ananda Leeke, a certified RYT 200 Yoga Alliance registered instructor and certified Reiki Master practitioner, will lead the yoga classes. 

The classes are for yoga enthusiasts (all levels, shapes, sizes, and ages) who:

1) believe yoga is a heart-centered practice that helps you develop the energy of the heart: loving-kindness for yourself and other; and 

2) enjoy practicing gentle, restorative, candlelight, and yin yoga in parks and yoga studios in the DC area


The Group will participate in FREE community morning yoga sessions held from May to November in Malcolm X-Meridian Hill Park (in front of the reflecting pool and waterfall located near the entrance facing 16th Street and Florida Avenue, NW).

 

CLASS FEES: 

There are no membership or class fees. Members will be asked to make donations to Fonkoze, Renewal for Haiti, and The Women's Collective, three organizations that Ananda supports with her Crowdrise online fundraising efforts throughout the year.
