In case you didn't get word about the camping trip yet all the details as listed below.

Camping Info Update:
We have several sites filled and we have couple of last sites open which are next to the other sites so if your thinking of going please RSVP to Ronda by email at [address removed] or give her a call at[masked] to hold the spot.

Dancing:  There is a cool little bar about 2 miles from the camp ground and they have always allowed us to do a little dancing to their juke box so if folks want to we can do a little "happy hour" over there on Saturday late afternoon.

If you can only make it up for Saturday night just let Ronda know and we can coordinate to make this happen if needed.

It's always a good time thanks to those who attend so looking forward to a little fresh air to share with everyone!!!!

Camping Details:
We have 6 sites reserved near each other in the Laguna campground about one hour from San Diego.  All the sites are in the Mead loop which is the nicer first loop.  Each site can take 2 cars and two tents and up to 8 people.

The sites are reserved for Friday September 21st & Saturday 22nd.

Friday night setup tents, make a fire and happy hour with drinks and appitizers.

For those interested we can do some short hikes and other stuff in the morning & afternoon. Potluck dinner at 6pm and campfire later at night after the sun goes down.
Often people bring games or cards to play... book to read...  mountian bike to

Sites are $20/night split between those at the site which you can pay when you get up there.

Showers: Yes there are showers in the camp ground :)
Bring Quarters for the Showers
Bathrooms: Yes... they are in the campground.

(one hour from San Diego)
Here are some directions and link to a map....
Located 50 miles east of San Diego, California. Take I-8 to Sunrise Highway Exit. Go approximately 13 miles to Laguna/El Prado Campground, just beyond the 26 mile marker if your coming from Interstate 8 going north. Turn left into the camp ground and there is a map on a big sign at the entrance of the campground which you can also get out of the car and look at.  There is a camphost trailer right next to the map who can also be of assistance.
The sites are under "Benusa & Conley".
We are in the first loop called "Mead" and each site has a little marker as you drive along each loop.  Sites 4,7,9,10,13,14

There is a store 5 minutes from the campground which is open until 5pm.

Here is a mapquest link to get to Mt. Laguna area from San Diego.

When you click on the link just look for the Laguna  camping area.  What your looking at is Sunrise highway off of interstate 8 and the road going to the camp ground..

The camp ground is across from the Sierra Club Lodge and before the Al Bahr Shriners Camp if your heading north on Sunrise Highway.
