主に英語と日本語での１対１のラングエッジエクスチェンジです。
This is a language exchange for those who are primarily interested in 1-on-1 conversation practice for English and Japanese.

===Timetable / スケジュール ⌛======

イベント：金曜日朝九時から、十一時まで（日本時間）
Time: 9:00am-11pm (Japan Time)

セッション一回45分で、それが2回あります。半分は日本語で、あとは英語です。一対一です。
There are two sessions. Each session runs 45 minutes with half of it in English and the other half in Japanese.

参加人数: 最大で20人 / 10組
Event Capacity: 20 members max (10 pairs)

グループで会話する場合は英語話者、日本語話者それぞれ2人までで最大4人になります
Group Size (2 people, max 4)

We will be using a video conference application called Zoom. If you are using the computer you could access the app through the website or via desktop application (https://zoom.us/download). If you’re using mobile devices, please download the app.

For those who are learning Japanese, you must be a native English speaker or have native level fluency. Likewise for those learning English, you must also be a native Japanese speaker or speak Japanese at native level fluency.

RSVP Rules

1. イベントへのサインアップは土曜日の朝8時―土曜日の朝8時迄となっております。
2. RSVP opens on Saturday at 8:00am and closes on Thursday at 8:00am.
3. サインアップをされた方は自動的にウェイトリストに登録されます。当イベントは1対1でのエクスチェンジの為、事前にこちらでペア決めを行います。当日のペアについてはイベントの前日午後10時にコメント欄にて通知いたします。予約のキャンセルをされる方は、出来るだけ早くオーガナイザー迄ご連絡下さい。遅くともイベントの2日前迄にお願いします。ご連絡なく欠席された方は、その後のイベントにおいて、waitlistの一番下へ登録され、参加への優先度が低くなりますのでご注意下さい。予約なしでの当日参加は出来ませんので、次回イベントへのご登録をお願いします。

※当イベントは1対1でのエクスチェンジです。時間厳守でお願いします。

2. To be fair to all members, all RSVP’s will be automatically moved the wait list until the organizer assigns partners and confirms your attendance by changing your status to "Going". This is to ensure that everyone can be paired with a native speaker of the language that they are learning. If you are confirmed and need to change your RSVP, please be considerate to your partner but giving us at least two days prior notice. No shows will be moved to the bottom of the waitlist for future events. Attendees who are not confirmed for this event and show up will be asked to leave and sign up for the next event to members who are confirmed for this meet up.

Thank you for your continued support weekly. Seeing everyone’s smile is our biggest motivation to host. We are happy to organize this meetup for everyone to study languages and meet friends. However, we need your help with the increasing subscription costs from Meetup.com and Zoom; all fees have been paid out of our own pockets so far. If possible, please support us as we try to make a difference in peoples’ lives, especially during these tough times. We’re hoping to fundraise for a one-year subscription of these applications.
