まずは月に2回、読んだ本、おすすめの本を共有するイベントを設定しますが、参加希望人数により週１回に変更する可能性もあります。

＜イベントの流れ（Zoomで1時間）
①自己紹介

②おすすめの本、最近読んだ洋書などを紹介
質問&雑談タイムも。
※本の発表は1人あたり2-3分目安
※英語での紹介も大歓迎！日本語もOK！

③フリートーク（グループ分けあり）
運営者が一つテーマを発表します。
（内容は一般的な内容なら何でもあり）
※英語でも日本語でもOK！

ご参加に先立ち、以下を必ずお読みください！
＜ルール＞

①お互いにリスペクトを持って接してください。読んだ、読んでない、英会話のレベルで参加者をジャッジすることは一切禁止です。

②楽しく、朗らかに、情報交換できる和気あいあいとした雰囲気づくりにご協力ください。
③ハイブリッドでZoom使用します。参加に先立ち、Zoomアプリのダウンロードをお願いいたします。
④誹謗中傷、ナンパ行為、あらゆる宣伝・勧誘等は禁止です。
⑤セクシュアル・ハラスメント、レイシズム、エイジズム、セクシズムなど一切のハラスメントは禁止します。見つけ次第退会させ、参加費用は返金いたしません。

＜お願い＞

①2026年2月〜6月の間は無料期間としますが、その後は会費を設定いたします。
②当日急に参加ができなくなる可能性もあります。その場合は可能な限り早くお知らせしますが、急なイベントキャンセルがあることをあらかじめご承知おきください。
③運営者はネイティブスピーカーでも専門家でもなく、単なる本好きの日本人ですので、ご理解のほどよろしくお願いいたします。
④最低開催人数＝1名です。人数確認のため、参加者は必ずRSVPにて参加表明をお願いいたします。
※イベント開催日は不定期です。
⑤開催中のスクリーンショットを撮影させていただくことがあります。
当然ご参加者のお顔、Zoom表示名はすべてマスキングし、個人情報は一切公開しませんのでご安心ください。

📚 This is a circle for book lovers who want to share the books they love with like-minded people.

🗣️ It’s also a place to practice outputting in English and for those who want to make reading friends.
Do you like reading books in English but don’t have anyone to talk about them with?
Do you usually read only in Japanese but still want to join a book club?
Have you ever thought, “I want to share my love of books with other book lovers!”?

## Features of This Community

● Easy to join online or in person
● A circle made for book lovers
● Parents raising children and fans of English picture books are very welcome
● Event content can be easily changed or requested via a pre-event survey
● Also a great opportunity to practice English speaking
● Beginners in English conversation are very welcome
● Participation is **free from February to June 2026** (a fee will be set later)

We will start with events held twice a month to share books you’ve read or recommend.
Depending on the number of participants, this may change to once a week.

## Event Flow (1 hour on Zoom)

① Self-introductions

② Introduce recommended books or recently read English books
There will also be time for questions and casual chatting.

※ About 2–3 minutes per person
※ Presentations in English are very welcome! Japanese is also OK.

③ Free talk (with breakout groups)
The organizer will suggest one theme.
(The theme can be anything general.)

※ English or Japanese is OK!

## Please Read Before Joining

### Rules

① Please treat each other with respect.
Judging participants based on whether they have read a book, haven’t read it, or their English level is strictly prohibited.

② Please help create a friendly, fun, and open atmosphere where everyone can enjoy exchanging ideas.

③ This is a hybrid event using Zoom.
Please download the Zoom app before joining.

④ Harassment, insulting behavior, flirting/pick-up behavior, and any kind of promotion or solicitation are prohibited.

⑤ Any form of harassment, including sexual harassment, racism, ageism, and sexism, is strictly prohibited.
If found, the participant will be removed immediately, and participation fees will not be refunded.

## Requests

① The period from February to June 2026 will be free of charge.
After that, a membership fee will be introduced.

② There may be times when events need to be canceled suddenly due to unforeseen circumstances.
We will inform you as early as possible, but please understand this in advance.

③ The organizer is not a native speaker or a professional—just a Japanese book lover.
Thank you for your understanding.

④ The minimum number of participants is 1.
To confirm attendance, please be sure to RSVP if you plan to join.

※ Event dates are irregular.

⑤ Screenshots may be taken during events.
All participants’ faces and Zoom display names will be masked, and no personal information will be shared publicly.
