(THIS EVENT IS ONLY FOR NON-NATIVE SPANISH SPEAKERS AS IT WILL FOLLOW THE FORMAT OF A SPANISH LESSON AND IT ONLY LASTS ONE HOUR SO PUNCTUALITY IS IMPORTANT 🙏🏻)
Our weekly session to read and discuss short stories from classic and contemporary Spanish and Latin American writers such as Gabriel García Márquez, Julio Cortázar, Isabel Allende, Almudena Grandes, etc. 📚
Each week, we dive into a new short reading, so you can join us whenever it fits your schedule—unlike a regular reading club where you're committed to a longer book for several weeks or months. ✨
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Every Tuesday, we will meet from 7:10pm to 8:10 pm at NANAI (one beverage per person is mandatory to ensure we can consistently reserve our table 😊).
- To fully benefit from the session, it's important that each participant reads and takes notes, if necessary, on the proposed story or reading before the event. This way, we can delve into discussions and explore the new vocabulary, Spanish expressions, and historical/cultural contexts.
WHAT TO BRING:
Your motivation to practice Spanish, a pen, a notebook (or a tablet), and a friendly attitude 😎
CONTRIBUTION:
Since we aim to create a regular community of readers, the first session will have a price of 10€ to be paid in cash before the lesson starts.
The following sessions are paid in packages with two different options in cash, bizum or wise:
• 4 lessons pass: 40€
• 1 lesson pass: 15€
(A regular Spanish & Coffee pass can also be used for the reading club)
Cards have a maximum validity of 2 months from the moment of purchase.
IMPORTANT:
Ordering alcohol during the lesson time is not ideal. We strive to create a friendly atmosphere in a café where you can enjoy nice teas and coffees ☕️🍪✨
