京都洋書読書会Meetup--Kyoto English Book Club Meetup

1. We'll discuss "The Housemaid" by Freida McFADDEN. The story is a psychological thriller about Millie, a young woman with a troubled past who is desperate for a fresh start. She takes a live-in housekeeping job with the wealthy Winchester family, hoping for stability. At first, everything seems perfect....　It is very, very gripping. Don't read it at night. You won't be able to go to sleep.
2. Participants are asked to have either read the whole book or at least
one third of it before the the meetup.
3. We'll meet on April 13th. The meetup is to start at 14:00 jst.
4. The venue will be at a place called "Cafe Veloce Karasuma Takoyakushi" located close to Shijo Subway Station. Close to the Subway Station Shijo alongside Karasuma-dohri (Karasuma Street)
5. What to discuss: your impression on the story, what part was difficult for you to understand, how you liked the story so far, what you think will happen next in the story and so on. Our discussion, perhaps, will not be entirely conducted in English. However, participants will be asked to use as much English as possible.

た箇所、作品に対する各自の評価、今後の予想される展開など。
なお、話し合 いに使う言語は英語ととする。
