京都洋書読書会Meetup--Kyoto English Book Club Meetup

1. We'll discuss "Murder at the Book Club" by Betsy Reavley.----200 pages long.
About the book---"Murder at the Book Club" by Betsy Reavley is a cozy mystery novel set around a group of women who meet regularly for their book club. Their seemingly normal gatherings take a dark turn when one of the members is found dead. What looks at first like a tragic accident soon raises suspicions of foul play....
2. Participants are asked to have either read the whole book or at least
one third of it before the the meetup.
3. We'll meet on Oct 19th. The meetup is to start at 14:00 jst.
4. The venue is a cafe called “Cafe Veloce Karasuma Takoyakushi”. It is located about 5 minutes walk from Shijo Subway Station.
5. What to discuss: your general impression of the story, what part was difficult for you to understand, how you liked the story, and so on. Our discussion will, hopefully, entirely conducted in English.
