Kyoto English Book Club Meetup to discuss "A Curious Incident of a Dog---"

1. We'll discuss "A Curious Incident of a Dog in the Nighttime" by Mark Haddon. (304 pages long)

Below is a synopsis of this book:
The book follows Christopher Boone, a 15-year-old boy with autism, who investigates the mysterious death of a neighbor’s dog. His search uncovers hidden family secrets and forces him to navigate a confusing and overwhelming world while learning about trust, independence, and truth.

2. Participants are asked to have either read the whole book or at least
one third of it before the the meetup.

3. We'll meet on Jan 18th. The meetup is to start at 14:00 jst. The participants are expected to come to the venue a few minutes before we officially start at 14:00.

4. The venue will be at a place called "Cafe Veloce Karasuma Takoyakushi" located close to Shijo Subway Station. It is alongside Karasuma-dohri (Karasuma Street).

5. What to discuss: our discussion will start off on discussion points(questions) related to the story, which are pre-prepared by the organizer. Then we will move on to your general impression of the story, what part was difficult for you to understand, how you liked the story, and so on. Our discussion will be entirely conducted in English.
