【毒にも薬にもなる建築ツアーとは】
昔ながらのお寺や神社ではなくて、近代になってからできた名作と呼ばれる建築が日本にはたくさんあります。
でも一体何が名作と言われる理由なのか、みんなが良いって言っているものって本当に名建築なのか、そもそも建築ってどんなことを考えて作られているのか、そんなことをお伝えするのがこのツアーの目的です。有名建築をしっかりと批判もするし、いいところは徹底的に褒めて学びとする、そんな毒にも薬にもなるツアーです。

建築の設計事務所と建築雑誌社での経験を持ち、現在はフリーで編集と設計の活動をしている岡本章大
東京大学大学院の建築学科で知り合った2人が講師役として皆様に建築の楽しさを案内します。
お散歩、名店巡りが趣味な人は、建築の見方を学べばこれからの週末がより楽しくなること間違いなし！
建築のことは何も知らない、興味はあるけどわからない、そんな人向けのツアーなので、興味を持ってもらえるよう、わかりやすく、面白く解説していきます。

【Vol.9 春の中目黒/代官山/恵比寿の建築を巡る】
徐々に暖かくなってきたということで、久々の建築ツアーを開催します。今回は中目黒/代官山/恵比寿の建築を巡ります。
中目黒といえばEXILE、恵比寿といえばナンパのまちのイメージになってしまった人もいるのでは？しかしただチャラいだけのまちじゃない、最新建築の宝庫でもあるんです。中目黒駅から代官山を経由して恵比寿に向かいます。中目黒には今日本で最も有名な建築家の設計したスターバックス、代官山にはこのまちを作ったと言っても過言ではない世界的建築家の名作が、恵比寿には昨年話題になった映画perfect daysで取り上げられたTOKYO TOILETのシリーズが。近くに固まっているのにそれぞれのまちごとに個性豊な建築がたくさんあります。もちろんただ褒めるだけじゃなく、毒もばら撒くこのツアー、おしゃれなまちをぶち壊すとんでもない建築もしっかり巡ります。
途中で立ち寄る目黒川沿いや西郷山公園では3/21に開花予想の桜も見ることができるかも！？

東横線　中目黒駅　東口2の出口を出てすぐの中目黒駅前街かど公園

【参加費】
3000円（初回割引：1500円）
多くの人にこのツアーを知ってもらいたいという思いから初めて参加される方は半額の1500円でご案内することにしました。当日初めて参加される旨をお伝えください。
当日現金での持参をお願い致します、集合時に徴収させていただきます。
途中20〜30分程度の休憩をはさみます。休憩時にかかる費用などは自己負担でお願い致します。

【案内】
ツアー当日、指定された時間と場所に集合してください。
講師陣が先頭に立ち、まち、建築物を巡ります。
屋外でそれなりの距離を歩くことになるので、歩きやすい格好でお越しください。
昨今の気候は予測できないので適宜飲み物の持参、防寒or熱中症対策をお願いします。
雨天中止。

【Vol.9 Tour of Nakameguro/Daikanyama/Ebisu Architecture】
With the weather warming up, we're bringing back our architecture tour! This time, we’ll explore Nakameguro, Daikanyama, and Ebisu.
Some may think Nakameguro or Ebisu as just a nightlife district, but these areas are more than their reputations—they are also home to some of Tokyo’s most fascinating contemporary architecture.
Our route: Starting at Nakameguro Station, we’ll walk through Daikanyama and finish in Ebisu. Highlights include:
A Starbucks in Nakameguro designed by one of Japan’s most famous architects.
A masterpiece by a world-renowned architect who played a key role in shaping Daikanyama.
The TOKYO TOILET series in Ebisu, featured in last year’s acclaimed film Perfect Days.
Each neighborhood has its own distinct architectural character, despite their close proximity. Of course, this tour isn’t just about praising architecture—we’ll also highlight some questionable designs that clash with the stylish surroundings.
We might even catch cherry blossoms along the Meguro River or at Saigoyama Park, where they are expected to bloom around March 21st!
After the tour, we’re planning an optional gathering in Nakameguro or Ebisu. Feel free to join us!

【Meeting Point】
Nakameguro Station (Tokyu Toyoko Line), East Exit 2
Meet at Nakameguro Ekimae Machikado Park, right outside the exit.
👓 Look for two men in their 30s wearing glasses—one of them will be holding a flag (if he remembers to bring it!).

【Participation Fee】
¥3,000 (First-time discount: ¥1,500)
To encourage more people to experience this tour, first-time participants can join for half price at ¥1,500. Please let us know if it's your first time when you arrive.
Payment will be collected in cash at the meeting point.
The tour will include a 20–30 minute break, during which any personal expenses will be self-funded. Thank you for your understanding!
