About us
Hi, I’m Matt, a Canadian who recently moved to 은평. I started this
meetup because I’d like to get to know my new neighborhood better — and hopefully meet some good people along the way. I founded and manage two startups, love going to the gym, meeting new people, and exploring new places.
These days, it feels like everyone is busy chasing goals, work, plans, and the daily routine. It’s easy to go through the week without really taking time to slow down and connect with others. This walk is a simple chance to pause for a bit, get outside, and share some casual conversation with new people.
We’ll meet near 연신내역 and take a relaxed walk around the area. There’s no fixed topic, no networking pressure, and no need to be super outgoing. We’ll just walk, chat, and see where the conversation naturally goes.
We might talk about life in Korea, hobbies, work, travel, culture, games, books, language exchange, future plans, or completely random things. You don’t need to prepare anything or try to impress anyone.
This is especially good for introverts, newcomers, quiet people, language learners, or anyone who prefers small, low-pressure social settings.
