Located just west of Colorado Springs, the Seven Bridges Trail is a very popular route along North Cheyenne Creek. The trail gets its name from the seven small bridges hikers traverse while meandering along the creek. Park on Gold Camp Road, and continue southwest along an old narrow gauge railroad bed. We'll walk along the road for a bit until we reach the trailhead, marked by a sign stating "Trail 622". From here the trail is straightforward. We'll be in the shade most of the time, as we make our way west along the creek. The river cascades powerfully down the canyon, especially in the spring.
I have hiked this trail a couple of times and always loved it.
Hope to see you there! :)
