The Beings & Beehive Sessions: A Gathering for Thoughtful Leaders
Details
The nature of work is this: change is inevitable.
Gather with like-minded leaders and the Beings & Beehives team (Dr. Ali Maaxa and Chad Seegmiller) to wind down, connect, and learn about how to apply anthropology and hive science to your teams at work.
Meet up with other thoughtful leaders looking for a meaningful way to navigate flux in their organizations. Our team draws from their expertise to offer lessons for leaders that break the mold to connect in ways that are both playful and deeply informed by nature. We are celebrating the return of spring *and* thinking about new approaches to leadership as change unfolds in our organizations, and in the world around us.
Food and drink are available for purchase at Steeplejack Brewing; we'll be in the main room from 5 pm on (feel free to come straight from work), then head to the Beings & Beehives space at 6 for a mixer.
At 6:30, we'll run the group through an informal workshop in which you'll apply the principal of biomimicry–that is, the ability of humans to apply learnings from nature to their own behavior and organizational design. You'[ll walk away with an exercise you can use in your next team meeting to drive alignment and imagination.
At 7:30, we'll break to get to know any new connections and plot our next hive gathering together before we part ways at 8 p.m..
