Hello, Couch to 5K London Meetup Group!
We're thrilled to have reached Week 4 of our program, and we can already see the progress you've made. It's time to take your running to the next level!
Join us for our upcoming event where we'll begin with a 5-minute brisk walk to warm up your muscles and get ready for the challenge ahead. This week's session will focus on increasing your running intervals and building your endurance.
You'll start with a 3-minute run, followed by a 90-second walk to catch your breath. Then, get ready to push yourself further as we tackle a 5-minute run, giving you a chance to test your limits and build your stamina. Afterward, you'll have a well-deserved 2 ยฝ minute walk to recover. We'll repeat this sequence once more to solidify your progress.
To wrap up the session, we'll cool down with a gentle walk for about 1 minute, allowing your body to gradually return to its resting state.
Remember, consistency and perseverance are key to achieving your goals. In addition to our group meetups, you'll have homework assignments during the week to keep you on track and continue challenging yourself.
Please come prepared with suitable running attire, comfortable shoes, and a water bottle to stay hydrated. Your safety and well-being are paramount, so listen to your body and inform us if you have any concerns.
