Rangeview Optimist Club - Warm Up America

Details
At our next regular meeting we will be talking about Warm Up America - an opportunity for those who enjoy knitting and/or crocheting to help make afghans. Partnering with Ronald McDonald House, our goal is to set up a group of volunteers who want to make 7 x 9 inch pieces of afghans in their spare down-time and get together once every month or to to put the pieces together to be donated to resident families at Ronald McDonald House or other charitable organizations in need of warming up.
We have a special menu if you want to eat - most of us do but it's not required. We generally have a speaker for the first 20-30 minutes then discuss projects and upcoming events. If you're interested, please let me know. We will also discuss a regular get-together JUST for the project.
If you'd like to meet some new local friends and share your knitting and crocheting with a wonderful organization, please RSVP.
