Yet Another Frickin' Trivia Event

Just so you know, this is a 21+ event since it will be held at a local Long Beach pub. Okay, let's get down to it then - I'll just cut to the chase...

Very soon I am planning on doing a test run for a new trivia event centered around the RetroGeeking spirit. So of course you should be expecting things from the 70's to 2000's ranging from Kraftwerk to WoW. I am uncertain if I or someone else will be a long-term quiz master at this point.

Unfortunately, prizes will likely not be available initially. However, if this becomes a regular meetup, the sky's the limit.

Whether you are a member of an existing group that makes their rounds to other trivia events around the LBC area or someone who enjoys pop-culture this event is for YOU! We are open to suggestions for how the event should be carried out so don't be shy to speak up if you have some unique ideas (i.e. Jeopardy style, "name that tune", Pictionary, etc.).

For the first trial run(s), I'm looking to get about 10 people or so before making it formal. It will likely be at the Bull Bar in Long Beach on Tuesday or Wednesday after 7pm once we have enough people.

I'm excited and cant'wait to hear some feedback!

Thank you sincerely,

-Trevor-
(Head Organizer)

P.S. I was also kicking around the idea of Guitar Hero and Rock Band (or similar games) style events as well.
