This year we'll have a special session by Kevlin Henney.

Time. In our code we can capture dates from the past and schedule times in the future. We tidy dates into data structures, capture moments in databases and watch the sands of time through our APIs. It's all nice and logical, right? Not so much. If you think you know everything you need to know about date–time handling, you are almost certainly wrong. If you think you don’t, you are almost certainly right.

In this talk we'll have some fun by looking at some of the not-quite-right assumptions we hold and and learn from the messes that w̶e̶ other people have made.
