————-
Hi everyone,
Let's go to a Fringe show together!
Big Value Comedy Show
Longest running mixed-bill, star-finding show on the Fringe. Now, in its 27th year. Previous finds include Romesh Ranganathan, Jason Manford, Sarah Millican, Jim Jeffries, Josie Long, Jon Richardson, Micky Flanaghan, Seann Walsh and loads of today's best-known comics.
The line-up tends to change most days, so each show is different.
Price: £9.30
RSVP info
Please only rsvp to one show in August and pay via PayPal.
Once everyone in the group has paid, I will buy the tickets (to get the group discount and to be seated next to each other).
Important: Because of logistics, l will need to receive your payment within 24 hours of messaging you. Unfortunately, I can’t keep your place if I don’t hear back from you within that time (sorry!), so please keep an eye on the meetups app.
Waiting list
If this event is full, we are holding two other events in August - so please consider joining one of them instead if you are free.
If all events are full, please join the waiting list as I’m sure there will be cancellations. You can join the waiting list for as many August events as you like.
CANCELLATIONS
If you can’t attend an event, let me know. Although I can’t guarantee that someone will be able to take your place, it might be possible to sell your ticket to someone on the waiting list.
I can’t guarantee this, so please operate under the assumption that your ticket is non-refundable.
Schedule
8:30pm: Meet near the Grassmarket Community Project venue (Fringe Venue 27) - I will confirm meetup location closer to the time. Please check back here and on the event chat.
9pm: Show starts
10.20pm: Show ends - feel free to stay on with new friends.

Who is this event for?
This event is for anyone who lives in Edinburgh, East Lothian and the surrounding areas in their 20s and 30s.
That includes people of all backgrounds, faiths, abilities and identities.
Who is this event not for?
- Anyone who is just looking to date and not interested in friendships.
This group is specifically for people who want to make new friends.
I hope everyone feels very comfortable in this group, but if anyone makes you feel uncomfortable, please tell me and we will sort it out ASAP.
- People who are too cool for school
This group is all about being kind and meeting new people. When you attend one of our Meetups, it's important to be open to a whole range of people who might have different interests to you.
Cliques are a big no. See someone standing alone? Not in this house. Please help us to make everyone feel as comfortable and welcome as you would like to be.
Event tips
-
Feeling a bit nervous about attending an event? Don't worry, that's totally normal. Remember, everyone is there for the same reason as you: to make new friends!
-
Try to meet lots of different people. Aim to speak with at least three new people when you're at an event - and if you've been to one of our Meetups before, don't speak exclusively to people you've already met.
-
Ask questions! The best way to make great connections is to show interest in other people. Don't just talk about yourself - even if you're the most fascinating person ever, one-sided conversations are a total snooze-fest. Find out about the other person's interests, work, life experiences, pets... you're guaranteed to learn something interesting.
Hope to see you soon!
Beci x
