In this meetup, web developer Jamie MacKillop will demonstrate what an API is and how we can use it to build programs that work with data pulled from all over the web. From apps that deal with stock prices, the weather, and the salaries of the employees of the City of Chicago, APIs are a powerful tool that allow us to write amazing and useful programs. Please bring a laptop. Bring a friend - no coding experience required!
