Workshop: Intro to ARKit + SceneKit

Details

• What we'll do
We will be going over Apple's new ARKit which was officially released as part of iOS 11 on September 19, 2017.

PLEASE COMPLETE THE STEPS DESCRIBED IN: https://github.com/nano3labs/arkit-workshop-prep/blob/master/README.md

ARKit allows us to place virtual objects into the environment using the camera and movement of the device. For the first time we can create interesting experiences in World-Scale.

This is your chance to learn more about ARKit and by the end of the night you will be able to write your own AR apps. At Nano 3 Labs we have been using ARKit from the early beta days and wanted to share our experience with you.

It is FREE to attend, but please note we do have a limited space so RSVP early and if you cannot make it, update your status to allow others to take your spot.

It is a workshop, so make sure to bring your laptop. We will be diving into code together and building an app.
