Big Basin tree to sea hike

The bus for this hike ends for the season in Dec. till the spring. This is ALWAYS a fantastic hike and fall is the best time to go. The fungi is amazing and abundant water makes the falls run wild. A great way to keep in shape even as the days get cooler. About 14 miles and more downhill than not. We take the bus to headquarters and hike to Wadell beach catching the bus at 5:15 and return downtown around 6:30. This is the only way to do this w/ out a huge hours long car shuttle! Only severe rain cancellation. Meet at the Santa Cruz Metro center to catch the 35a in the center aisle @ 8:30 to Big Basin hdqrs. Don't be late, bus waits for no one. Two dollars each way.
