SIGN WAVE before Simi Presidential Debate

New info:

We need to make a huge showing at this major debate both INSIDE and OUTSIDE the event. We need to make lots of signs and banners for a presence outside and we need to distribute literature to everyone who attends. We need to have bumper stickers, buttons and tee shirts available for those new people leaving the debate who have been converted to Ron Paul supporters!

INSIDE:
Tickets are tightly controlled by Nancy Reagan, but some Ron Paul supporters are getting tickets. Reagan's guest list should be favorable to Ron, since he is the last link in American politics to the Reagan legacy.

OUTSIDE:
We need to do a massive sign waving along the drive entering the Library grounds. Plan on being there at 3 PM or earlier. The debate starts at 5 PM. Bring a sign if you can, if not we have made some banners and signs. If you have a bullhorn/megaphone, please bring it. Please bring literature and buttons if you have them to give out as the attendees are leaving.

Sign waving rally for Ron Paul will be held on Madera Rd. at or near Presidential Dr., Simi Valley 93065

Park in the nearby residential area:
Drive north on Presidential Dr.
At the first street, turn right on Roosevelt Ct.
This is a small 3-street residential area, but should be big enough.
5-15 min. walk back to Madera Rd. & Presidential Dr.

From Madera Rd., turn south on Country Club Dr. WEST.

After the Sign Wave on Madera Rd. near the Reagan Library, join us at
the nearby Elephant Bar to watch the Debate on 3-4 TVs in the Bar. Some
drinks and snacks are discounted during the Bar's Happy Hour. Dinner is
available from their full menu. They have reserved most of the Bar for
us because I said we'd be buying drinks and food.

We have asked Ron Paul to stop by and speak to us after the debate, but
there is no guarantee. His Campaign staff said it will depend on his
energy level. (Following the debate he has a Reception with Nancy
Reagan and a chance to speak to the press in the "spin room." If he has
enough energy after all of that, he and Carol will come visit us -- I
understand he came to the Elephant Bar in 2008 following that debate.)

to hand Ron Paul when he comes..

AFTER THE DEBATE:

Some of us should be at the base of Presidential and Madera with the RON PAUL 2012 sign system as well as other signs and literature and bumper stickers to hand out to exiting attendees as they stop at the stop sign. That will show them the real commitment and dedication of the Ron Paul Nation!

The Ron Paul Revolution started in Los Angeles in 2007 when 100 Ron Paul supporters turned up inside and outside for Ron's appearance with Bill Maher on his show in Hollywood. It created a stir that reverberated across the nation. We need to do the same thing this time. And this time WE CAN WIN!!!

Please only RSVP if you are going to be there outside the debate or inside so we can have an idea of how many supporters we can count on.

We need to make a lasting impression on the invited attendees of the Reagan Library Presidential Debate as to the depth and breadth of Ron Paul's support. Ron Paul Supporters (with signs) will line Madera Rd. in Simi Valley near the entrance to the Reagan Library. I want to remind attendees to be on their best behavior with supporters of other candidates. Most will have very similar views to us as to what's best for the country; they just haven't been educated yet on the Federal Reserve or the real costs of War and Big Government. We will need their support next November when Ron takes on Barack Obama.

The Debate, from 5-7 p.m., can be seen on MSNBC and Politco.com. We will watch it at the Elephant Bar in Simi (see separate event below).
